Happy Yet?
Are these ‘I hate illegal immigrants’ people happy yet?
I read the saddest article today. About 4 white American teens beating an illegal immigrant to death. They yelled racial slurs as they kicked him in head.
What are the parents of these teens thinking? I can’t imagine. Because I can’t imagine what in the hell you have said in your home that made your kids, who the media calls ‘good students,’ think it was okay to kick the shit out of another human being until he died.
Who can kick another human being in the head over and over and think that is an okay thing to do? What kind of person can use black, gay, Mexican, Muslim/Christian/insert any organized religion here, etc. as a reason to hate so bad?
I don't know. The only people I tend to hate so much are the people that hate so much but I'd never kick them in the head for it because I try to give people the benefit of the doubt. (I'm a crazy liberal, you know).
These hardcore anti-immigration people have grown to disgust me. And to see they are passing their hate onto their children makes me realize they don’t have the intelligence to know that the argument is over the POLICY not the people.
They don’t even realize where the problems lie.
Just another reason why this country can’t move forward.
The actions of these people leave me thinking one thing…that, if we’re considering cleaning up this country…maybe we should re-think who we need to consider shipping out of this country.
It's worth a thought. And maybe an easier and cheaper option to enforce.
Happy Friday.

Well said. This reminds me of a song from the musical “South Pacific” about teaching children to “hate and fear” people that are different. The lyrics are has follows:
You’ve got to be taught
To hate and fear,
You’ve got to be taught
From year to year,
It’s got to be drummed
In your dear little ear
You’ve got to be carefully taught.
You’ve got to be taught to be afraid
Of people whose eyes are oddly made,
And people whose skin is a diff’rent shade,
You’ve got to be carefully taught.
You’ve got to be taught before it’s too late,
Before you are six or seven or eight,
To hate all the people your relatives hate,
You’ve got to be carefully taught!
